Also this year our staff managed the satellite streaming of the Metropoli Agricole event.
The issues dealt with regarded the close connection between big cities and peri-urban farmland and the most evident consequences of this, such as new employment opportunities offered by the agricultural sector, the integration of policies regarding food with other city policies of an environmental, social, commercial and urban planning nature, as well as greater awareness of the choices of the citizen-consumer.
This year’s conference was held on 22 October at the University of Milan.
