On 29th and 30th October Edithink managed the directing and the video conference service of the event promoted by the Fondazione Cariplo and the Agropolis Foundation to support collaborative research in the agri-food sector, particularly on cereals.

The results achieved and the future prospects of the four winning projects of the CERES competition were presented during the event.
The CERES competition was started in 2013 to support projects jointly carried out by researchers from Italy, France, and emerging and developing countries with the aim of fostering research useful for improving cereal production.
In addition, also during the event, the Fondazione Cariplo, the Agropolis Foundation and the Fondation Daniel et Nina Carasso launched the THOUGHT FOR FOOD agreement to fund new research on the sustainability of our food systems and to ensure access to healthy, safe food for all while respecting the environment.
